๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒŠ~ Traditions into a healthy holiday weekend ~๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒŠ

Creative season blessings,There is no better time to host the conversation about healthcare and our relationship to health. Traditions of all types will allow us to come together and share in our healing process. While the war, shootings, and terrorism continue to spread. This will be an excellent time to practice the gratefullness we are to live in the present moment. Daily gratitude and love will help us heal on all levels. While we are celebrating so many holidays this week, we surely want to remind ourselves that health is showing up for us on every level of our life; joining together during the holidays is one of the best ways to connect and heal. So, while allowing all the blessings to join our tables these upcoming holidays, I have been thinking about Neurodiversity this past few weeks. Neurodiversity refers to variation in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention, mood, and other mental functions. Making important observations while taking a different approach to health and well-being As the flowers continue to bloom and we continue the conversation of how to lower the cost of our healthcare, we can allow the freedom to access our own care in the most positive possible care.

The team and I would like to send you the warmest wishes for a happy Passover, Easter, and Ramadan. We hope that we find the joy to realize that we carry this responsibility that connects us to care for and send love to every suffering person around the globe. Enjoy this auspicious time with your family and friends; we are all on this ride and journey of healing together.Positive thoughts and balancing the healthiest food choices possible during these upcoming holidays is a medicine - In light of freedom, peace, and connections, Naama & the RightPlan Teamโค

He expressed his passionate relation to enhancing technology in the healthcare industry. He strongly supports the Crypto industry for decentralizing aspects of several governmental elements in the new and upcoming economy.

What's happening in California?

Mental health, a topic that was mostly ignored in the past, has now been the leading conversation at the federal and the state level with more legislators working towards mental health awareness.

Governor Newsom has been at the forefront of this and recently also visited Napa State Hospital. During his visit he highlighted the framework which provides quality treatment for individuals who deal with severe mental health disorders, but mostly it is only after a conservatorship or criminal justice intervention, and more often in locked facilities.

The Governor's administration is also hosting CARE Court roundtables with health care and service providers all over California. These roundtables aim to provide individuals with mental health and substance use services before they end up cycling through prison, emergency rooms, and encampments. CARE Court prioritizes the sickest Californians, helping many who live on our streets without shelter or medical care.

Governor Newsom signs law that makes abortions cheaper

Recently, California's Governor Gavin Newsom signed a new law that makes abortions cheaper for people on private insurance plans. This is the first of more than a dozen bills the stateโ€™s Democratic leaders plan to pass this year to prepare for a potential U.S. Supreme Court ruling that could overturn Roe vs. Wade.

You donโ€™t have to get sick in order to start taking care of your health

This month our focus is on 'Turmeric'Turmeric, a bright yellow spice with origins in South Asia, is referred to as a superfood by many herbalists. Its main active ingredient is curcumin, which has many anti-inflammatory properties. It also works as an anti-oxidant. Apart from being a widely popular spice in South Asian cuisine, adding to the cuisine's flavor and color, Turmeric has many other health-related benefits. Many studies say that Turmeric may help reduce arthritis, lower the risk of cardiovascular disease as well as help with digestion. It also helps to improve one's liver function. Other than its health benefits, Turmeric also helps hydrate and revitalize skin as well as alleviates symptoms of dryness, leaving your skin moisturized.Overall it is a win-win for your inner body and skin.

Drug Cost Sticker ShockWhen we go to fill a new prescription or renew one, sticker shock costs far more than last time. There are two main reasons this happens:

  • The deductible

  • The gap in coverage

Neither is avoidable, so learning and understanding the changes is best.Drug plan deductibles โ€“ A deductible is an amount you must pay each year before your drug plan pays its share. Nearly all prescription drug plans have deductibles (those few do not have higher premiums). The deductible only applies to certain drug tiers or brand-name medications on most plans. Lower-cost medications are often exempt from the deductible. For 2022, most plans have a $480 deductible. So if your prescription only costs $50 a month, you could be paying the deductible all year long. However, if your prescription costs $500, you will need to pay the $480 at once.Learning and educating ourselves about how to save on our prescriptions will be crucial.

Travel Smart

Spring is here ~  planning a trip with your loved ones?Make sure to travel with care and a travel insurance policy. A travel insurance plan will cover emergencies and pre-existing ones as well. Still, it can help connect you with an English-speaking doctor, access telemedicine while abroad, and even help with medical evacuation. Remember, most traditional Medicare doesn't cover you when traveling internationally.
