Mental Care Of Health ~ Time to share ~ COMPASSION

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–Greetings for a Happy Mental Health Awareness Month!

Let's discuss mental care, but how about COMPASSION - There is an endless healthcare conversation and dedication to raising awareness about mental health and the hope of breaking the stigma surrounding it. Moreover, loneliness is a disease, and we better face it together.

So let's remind ourselves:

Here are a few tips to help us stay mentally healthy:

Practice self-care: Take Time to do the things that make you feel good, whether its reading a book, taking a walk, or listening to music.

Connect with others: Social support is vital for our mental state of health. Connect with family and friends, join an online support group, metaverse, or seek professional help.

+ Get enough sleep: Adequate sleep is essential. Pay attention! Try to establish a consistent sleep routine and limit screen time before bed.

+ Limit news consumption: Constant exposure to negative news can be stressful and negatively impact our mental health. Stay informed but set boundaries to prevent feeling overwhelmed.

Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness practices (staying in the present moment) such as meditation or yoga can help us manage stress and anxiety. Take a few minutes daily to focus on your breath and quiet your mind.

Taking care of our mental health is not a one-time event, but this month is an excellent reminder that it is a continuous process. So, let's use this Mental Health Awareness Month to prioritize our well-beingstress reduction, and lower our anxiety.

Message for our EMPLOYERSfocusing on our employees is one of the keys to a healthier,  happier, and successful teamEmployees Mental Health: section below.

We'll do the heavy lifting on behalf of YOU, our employees, this month,

Employers

Here are a few actions employers can take based on our experience working with employers for the past 30+ years:

+ Create a supportive work environment

: open communication and positive relationships between employees and management.

+ Offer mental health resources:

Employers should offer mental health resources such as workshops, online programs, mindfulness training, and meditation sessions

.

+ Providing flexible work arrangements:

such as flextime, remote work, and job sharing, can help employees better balance their personal and professional lives.

+ Educate and involve management:

Training managers to identify signs of stress and anxiety in their employees and encourage open conversations about mental health.

+ Promote work-life balance:

Encouraging a positive work-life balance by limiting after-hours work communication, reminding employees to take breaks during the workday, and promoting regular exercise, rest, and walking.

Remember that mental health is a critical component of overall health, and employers play a vital role in supporting our employees' well-being.

We can create a

healthier CULTURE β€“ this is the CareForHealth movement -

Time to share COMPASSION  -

Side note:What employers need to know about Medicaid redetermination and its impact on employees

Since April 1, approximately 15–18M people have been no longer eligible for Medicaid coverage because of the redetermination process. Our employees may be one of them seeking health insurance from another source, including employer-sponsored coverage.

Our heart center leader

Naama at Times Square

This one is undoubtedly for the books!!!

Our rockstar Naama opened one of NFT NYC's 2023 official music festivals. The event was a success, and the streaming in the Metaverse allowed people to participate in it from the world over. But streaming it in Times Square was on another level, and it was a great way to celebrate World Meditation Day, which fell on the 21st of this month.LAAHU Annual Symposium

First Stop Health sponsored the opening meditation by Naama at the LAAHU Annual Symposium on Tues, 4/25, at the Pasadena Convention Center. As a result, 330 health insurance industry leaders have participated, and it was clear that meditation is now part of every health & benefits event.
